SUNSETS OF MY LIFE

As the sunsets peacefully
Melting into the ocean
With a mellow orange glow
I sit here and ponder...

I think of the past,
Many joys I have partaken in
Many places, people and events
Not all of them good
But together they form my existence.

I think of the present,
A slightly uncertain time for me,
Not knowing exactly what to do
Not knowing exactly how to act
But willing to venture into the unknown

Which makes me think of the future,
A truly uncharted area
What lies ahead for me in my life
What lies ahead for those I love
What paths shall I choose

And while I ponder
All of these incredible thoughts
I notice the beautiful sunset again,
And I realize...

Only time can bring the future
Only time can blur the past,
So I may as well just relax

And Enjoy all the Sunsets Of My Life...
