An angel sent from heaven
Has came into my life
It's such a special responsibility
For me and my lovely wife

Together we shall raise her
We'll teach her wrong and right
We'll love her unconditionally
And tuck her in at night

As she grows older
She'll develop her own style
She'll become her own person
And we'll just sit back and smile

For only a parent can feel
Such a deep Love as this
The bond from a parent to child
Is the best thing on my list

And I for one am lucky
My life's list is full of joy
My life has been a series of blessings
Ever since I was a boy

And now my gifts are being past
Down to the next generation
